I finally finished this book last night. I have mixed feelings about it. It's about a 18 year old who decides to self educate instead of going to college. It could have been interesting, but mostly it wasn't. The first few pages held promise and after that it kind of flopped. It ended up being a girl who was self obsessed with a romance that never was and the details of her family. She does have an interesting family, but most of the book is just mindless drivel. A teenager might enjoy this book, but as an adult I was mostly rolling my eyes at her. It's already up on Paperback Swap!Rating: 2/5

Never heard of this one and I don't think I'll go looking for it either!
At work there's been a lot of intergenerational trainings offered and one of the things that comes up is that the newer adult generation is one that is more likely to be self-educated and less likely to feel the need to go to college. I haven't seen stats for that and so I have no idea how true it is, but I thought of that when you began describing the book.
Hopefully your next book for the challenge will be more satisfying!
I guess this is what happens when teenagers write their own books! LOL
I hope your next Non-Fiction book is better.
