Year of Wonders

Probably the best read of the year so far. About Anna, a widow and her life as she lives through the plague of 1666. Based on a true story, but a fictional account, this was a moving book. It was recommended to me on a homeschool board and I'm so glad I read it. It was very sad at times and also upsetting, of course describing the deaths and other events that happened in the English village.

Highly recommended.

I loved this book...except for the ending which was very strange!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was compelling and well-written. A simply fascinating account of the time.
